Orientation nonsense
Today I had orientation for 3 hours, it was so boring and really scary. They kept on talking about drinking and doing something stupid while interning and having it all bite you in the rear. After that, I had my first class where, again, the professor just talked about the seminars, the internship, and the research paper. I knew when signing up to do the paper, which is 35-50 pages, it would be kind of hard. But when they kept on talking about it today, I got a little overwhelmed. But I just keep telling myself that I am not a proscrastinator. Tonight the friends that I've made already went downtown on the metro to try and get in a club. Unfortunately, it was already 10:30 and there was a huge line and we had to get back on the metro before 12(it stops at 12), so we just came back. But it was a nice little adventure. However, it was cool because in the background was the white house. No one else was in awe as I was, they must already be used to the fact that so much history and power is all around and just hanging out in the background.

Hey Em if you want a club to go to go to Home Nightclub its right near china town. A friend of mine promotes out there and it is a pretty cool club and you only have to be 18 to get in! Yeah metro sucks during the weekdays and wait till to take your first cab ride you are gonna have no clue cause they pretty much make up the price!
